OK. Good call. Maybe a MacBook is in order. I will never buy another Windows laptop or desktop. I spent 12 years on their machines. Went to Apple in Oct. 2012. No regrets. None.

Currently the only laptop I have in my household that run OS X is the Acer TravelMate 2480.
512MB of RAM
Intel GMA 950 (<Worst card ever.)
Intel Celeron M (clocked @ 1.4Mhz)
1280x800 internal LCD
Broadcom 4318
Realtek HD Audio

I think a MacBook is in order. Although looking at the price after customization, I'll save up for it ;)
 
I have the 15" with 8g ram, 500g HD, yada, yada. It's on the Apple site. Rocks like a raped ape. The flash HD is the best part of the deal. Fast and quiet.

Oh yeah, no BSOD within miles.

Anyway here's a picture of something that I thought was cool. The app boinc that I use for our world community grid team. Its cool that they keep my phone from overheating like this so they wait for my phone to cool down.

Starting to wonder of I should stop using the android forums app, and just use the Phandroid app. What one do you guys use?

Nexus 7 2013. ASUS marketed by Google. I bought mine on my T-Mobile plan as a second line mobile plan device. I use it as a phone now and then on Text+. I boycott Micro$oft.

I have the Nexus 7 on Cricket of all carriers. Had to edit APNs for MMS. SMS sends fast and easy. LTE almost everywhere.
 
I also have two Kindles (Fire and Fire HD) an iPad Mini and a Z10. Text+ allows me to use all as phones on a wireless network.
 
Yeah. My Fire HD is good for reading and Final Fantasy. That's about it. My Fire is the better of the two. E-Mail is the selling point for me. Mainly in my business communications.
 
WOW!!! I have never seen anything like this!:eek: The sky just turned dark as night in a flash and then there was a snow squall a complete white out!! Blizzard..Couldn't see anything..zero visibility for about 10 minutes!!!



I just checked the weather and I guess there is no end in sight....Snow squalls and blizzard conditions dangerous cold for the next few days at least...another 8-12 inches on the way... ...I hear the sirens now...:( I hope people were smart enough to pull over and stop on the side of the road...

I patronize the small businesses. A much better experience and I'm a small business owner so I know what they need.
