Well THAT was fun! Stupid storm! I just list power for a couple days..
There are huge trees down etc it's a mess for some people
Not surprisingly I didn't even know it was bad outside
I was out for pizza n such with hubby At this dive bar
That has awesome pizza:)
 
Oh! And that morning I took a pic if this... I think it's a vulture? Turkey vulture I think? Anywho rarely see them around here

Earlier this spring Huh told us about Planters smoked peanuts. They finally showed up in the A&P. I picked up a container to try as well as a cocoa peanut tin.
 
Today I just learned about Tsutomu Yamaguchi who survived the atomic bomb in Hiroshima, and then went home the next day to Nagasaki, where he also survived the bombing.

In other words, Japanese Chuck Norris(or Bad Luck Brian).
 
Part of the reason we went to Cuba on vacation was precisely because it meant my missus was entirely out of reach of the office for the full 10 days ;)

Every cloud has a silver lining - and vice versa :D

ugh...Motion Picture Industry just called...I let it go to VM... not sure I want all this movie whoohaw going on in my back yard now...:rolleyes:
I will have to get the okey dokey from my neighbors and stuff....they want to shoot at night and there will be quite a few people here...big lights , camera's etc...etc...

boys are at camp...hubby is at some something( I tune out) downtown all day/night for some work function thingy ...
I had all good intentions of cleaning laundry grocery store etc....but:D it's nice outside..so I'm gonna poof* disappear;)
ignore everything, read my book by the pool , get some sun, make some fancy frozen drinks and just eat what i pick from the garden
The cherry tomatoes this year are the best i have ever had in my life!! ever!!

I like Chinese pot stickers! just tried my hand at making them with a friend of mine last week! have to say...they were really good!(I made veggie) also made some lettuce wraps with chicken etc...

trying to get my boys to try new foods..so we still do meatless Monday's which is a huge hit..(they totally jumped on board to support my veggieness) and now we are starting to do international food frenzy on Sunday's:rolleyes: I just made that term up! hahaha! anywho..in an attemp to teach them how to cook as well, we take turns each week picking a new recipe then go to the market to get ingredients and cook it! luckily we have many small specialty family owned markets in and around our area...polish, chineese, middle eastern, southern, greek. italian, korean, soul food, german etc....:D

any and all food suggestions are welcome:)

tried peanut pie couple days ago....and OMG!!!!
this Sunday its Korean BBQ:)
