Oh man I do. I had the water pump go out on my car last winter. No heat for a few days. Problem went away when the pump took the timing belt out and ended the whole damn thing. Had to sell the car off for dirt cheap.

Now I live in Vegas. I run the heat for about 3 or 4 minutes in the morning and I'm good to go.

Living in the desert I'm much more appreciative of finally having working A/C though.
 
I wonder what's going on down in the park today, are the machmen having a meeting, and where is my friend called "Five"?

Choosing spring semester classes, ugh, none of these humanities classes interest me at all.
Ihave to choose between Fiction, Poetry, Liderature, Gender, or world Mythologies classes.

"World mythologies" sounds the most interesting to me. However I have no idea of what frame of reference it is taught in. If it included an analysis of religions (which IMHO should be lumped with mythologies) I'd be all over it. Somehow I doubt the class will include, or even except the premise that religions are anagolous to mythologies.

In my anthropology class we learned that the base of religion came from Mythologies and those myths were created because it was believed that people had supernatural powers so yes... Religion does have a big part in myths.

But this is not the religion forum.
 
Now that I'm a manager, I need to quit eating this crap because I'll be working a lot more. I've gained 10 pounds since I started working here 2 years ago. So, when I do eat here I guess it'll be the apples, cuties, gogert, and the salad...

Those aren't bad are they? I hope not.

Damn... So what am I going to eat on breaks?
 
Salads, no dressings, no salt. Just fresh raw, vegetables with no protein or carbs. Eat with water to drink only. Sounds boring but isn't. That ten pounds will disappear easily. I've just lost 20lbs cutting out chocolate (my real food weakness) and eating nothing but salad for lunch in just under ten weeks.
 
I just noticed that I have been working 6 days a week for the passed 3 weeks. This next paycheck... Should be really good. Getting closer and closer to buying my own car. At this rate, I can get a really good car that will last a long time. That's what I want too.
