Every Monday morning, local Victory shopping plaza plays on their PA it during flag raising and opening for business.

During term times can hear The East Is Red as well, from the local kindergarten PA at 7am, every weekday. Can hear it every hour on the hour at Beijing Railway Station.

The east is red, the sun rises.
From China arises Mao Zedong.
He strives for the people's happiness,
Hurrah, he is the people's great savior!
(Repeat last two lines)

Chairman Mao loves the people.
He is our guide
to building a new China
Hurrah, lead us forward!
(Repeat last two lines)

The Communist Party is like the sun,
Wherever it shines, it is bright.
Wherever the Communist Party is,
Hurrah, there the people are liberated!
(Repeat last two lines)

Spent the last two days with a trusty dog, hummingbirds swarming by day, and a hoot owl that sat in the tree next to me last night and serenaded me for for a good two hours in the pitch dark from about 3 AM, save for that same Milky Way that huh told us about, with some coyotes trying to sneak by about 40 yards away (and really not being very good at it). The human animals were mighty fine company as well.

They say that you can find paradise in your own backyard. I've found that that's true.

And sometimes you can find paradise in a buddy's backyard, especially when it's out in the country.

I've found that that's true too. ;) :)

Our Ford Edge has WiFi and installable apps, didn't even know lol.

On another note it looks like the NAV is Nokia Here, which looks great on the screen.

My 2012 Fusion just has sync, so it has compatibility with some apps via Applink(namely Pandora and Amazon Music). I had to do an update via USB drive a couple months ago....it feels weird to install software updates on your car(my last car was built in 1992).

The country is def. the way to go. I just spent 4 days out on our property up in central Utah. Elevation is roughly 7000 ft so it was nice and cool, very peaceful. I had no cell service the entire time. I'd move there if I could make a living.
