The NFL Is in Decline

The game wasn't much fun to watch. It was one of those blowouts with things pretty much settled long before the fourth quarter was over. There were the usual penalties, with the officials meeting to discuss whodunit and what to call. These provided opportunities for what are described by the announcers as a "break in the action." Those would be commercials for everything from Viagra to life insurance. For some reason, there don't seem to be as many beer commercials as there once were. Beer and tires propped up the NFL on television for many years. Perhaps the same guys who used to buy the beer and tires are now thinking Viagra and life insurance.​

The NFL is trying to make the game as boring as MLB did in the 60s. They got on the Yankees for Mantle chewing bubble gum and blowing bubbles in the outfield.

That got blown out when Bill Veeck got the White Sox. Exploding scoreboards, disco night etc.

The NFL doesn't like touchdown celebrations (some are ridiculous) but bumps and high fives?
Forbidding players from using Twitter? (Players ignore it)
Seems like every player in MLB has a Twitter account. The fans seem to enjoy it.

anywho..So ....I tried my hand at being a Foster...and totally failed...so now...we have a new addition..Logan..a 2yo black and white former stray cat...who is my dog Quinny's absolute new BFF...they are inseparable...and look like twins! No worries I'll post thousands of pics!!
