Just for the record, I hate Halloween. It makes no sense and serves no purpose other than teaching children how to beg -- arrogantly -- from total strangers. I always hang out someplace other than home until about ten pm so all the little gremlins are strapped in bed.

Non of which are a public holiday of course.

...as the government would say...Well this year they're probably glad to be rid of us, though I see the Brexit crowd as pretty much the equivalent of what we're dealing with at the moment. But even if the Brits are glad now, I seem to remember reading that they put up a teeny fight about letting us go.@Gmash You mean the Brits don't?
