The time has come that if you can sue people and a judge throws it out because it's considered a frivolous lawsuit, the other party can turn around and be awarded for the amount you tried to sue for or some other reasonable amount. Stopping wasting people's time and money, especially our tax paying dollars that run the court system.

Best way to get free shipping or a discount online, go on a website and look at the item you're trying to purchase and then leave. Hours or days later you'll get an email giving you a promo code for a percentage off or free shipping. I don't know how they track you down when I don't even have an account on some of these sites, but they do. Creepy, but cool I guess.

Cool or not, one might as well take advantage of a discount if it something they are wanting. I don't know of any way to avoid the tracking. I would hate to be the merchant that has to pay for that information and then offer some discount to entice a consumer to purchase.

This is precisely why a brand new auto battery from the store has to be properly charged up as soon as it's purchased: the Darling Bride needed a new AGM battery for her Chrysler. Went and bought one (Interstate Battery) yesterday and installed it. The car started right up and we drove it home.

The drive was about 30 minutes. One would think that would be long enough to charge up the battery. NOPE! I put it on the charger this morning and it barely read a 50% charge. Today it gets a proper top-off and testing.

BTW: do not try charging an AGM battery with a standard battery charger! The high current could ruin the battery. Always use a charger designed for AGM batteries.
