Random Thought Thread

Tuesday evening I was at the baggage carousel at BOS waiting for our last bag, and my wife, who had stopped to use the WC.
That last bag took quite a while, and during the wait I mused about which one of the two I would be happier if it ended up lost.
(In case you are wondering, while I generally like traveling with my wife, I don't enjoy flying with her...or perhaps you may have already guessed that?)

Yesterday was a bit stressful, my m0ther g0t a cellph0ne call fr0m the tax pe0ple and they said "Yes Mil0 needs a seperate irs acc0unt just t0 get his taxes d0ne.." s0 we filled it 0ut and they disc0vered i had an acc0unt with them but the email I did n0t had already 0n my cell, 0r anything by mem0ry, I am glad n0 0ne is arresting me f0r n0t c0mpleting it either. But n0t s0 sure why it is in N0vember like always and n0t cl0ser like in spring time.

Yeah man, took me only like a few dozen hours or so from ground zero.. A lot of copliot walk throughs, I keep forgetting about insert windows seven disc, I attempted everything I could ever mustard until a light broke right through when I was getting my back adjusted and it hit me last Friday.

I'll be scarce for the next couple of days. While I would normally be going to as many school veterans programs as possible tomorrow, I have a colonoscopy Wednesday morning. That means tomorrow afternoon, and all night, I'll be very, very busy. I'll try to attend one tomorrow morning, but then it's PREP time... I'll be a basket case by the time I get home from the procedure: I'll eat some actual food and go to bed.

I hope everything works out okay. :) Seriously, take care Chief.

If you're old enough, you likely can remember when flying wasn't so stressful.
At least Dunkin Donuts was there to caffeine me up... caffeine helps with stress, right? :)

Hey good morning everyone,
today is going to be one of those quick run into towns, of getting stuff from Mendard's my friend wants to head on up there soon, but I also have to finish up house chores though, Been lacking on the University program down here to keep track of my steps, I will pull up the screen shot for everyone for my progress.

How many of you wear sweat pants around the house and on occasion when heading out, I do not like to wear them all the time though, but I do like to toss on a pair whenever heading out though, because of the confortable flex I do get in them and also the right kind of feel I have with them over and over,
When I wear demin:

When going out into town with my mother from time to time,
when I am going to my side job frequently
when heading out with my sister as well.

Those are the only three times I can recall by wearing jeans.

I actually have two pairs of sweat pants in my dumpster at the curb this morning. They were Christmas gifts of the past that have never been worn... just not my thing. I have always been a jeans guy. There is certainly nothing wrong with sweats...

Speaking of sweats, I have a pair of wrestling sweats in the back of my closet. My son saved them from his four years of high school wrestling and I've been the keeper for some reason. He graduated over 25 years ago. I think it's time the sweats follow him home.

There is always something with Baby Boomers they always think that Jeans are more confortable to wear all the time.. I think they are not warm for like going inside a store and having the cuffs at the legs wide open. I have a pair of elastic bottoms ones that kept my legs pretty dry duration of yesterday, my mother and I where talking about it the other day..

Been wearing sweats for a long time.
Began when I had my second hip surgery.
Now that I've lost a bunch of weight it's hard to find comfortable pants that I can wear without them falling off my backside.

Just bought me some camouflage stuff from the Temu. Not the warmest things but they don't fall off my @$$.

If they haven't been picked up, please retrieve and donate them to a local charity. Keeps them out of a landfill, too.

About the only time I wear sweats is when it is really cold and I just wear them around the house. Pulling them on is cheaper than running the furnace higher (2-story house, all the heat goes upstairs as well).
Most of the time I wear either cargo pants or jeans. I have a couple pair of "stretch" denim jeans that are very comfortable. If I'm not planning to go anywhere I have an old pair of Wrangler blue jeans that aren't terribly comfortable, but they're kind of my go-tos because if I do something around the house or yard I don't have to change...and I usually put them on for dog walks, at least when the weather is cool enough.
If I want to look a little nicer I have some "dress-casual" pants (Docker-ish) as well as dress slacks and suit pants, of course.
