Random Thought Thread

I was graced with narrow hips and nothing for a bum. I find sweats awkward to wear. I have to tie them on super tight or they are falling off. Then I have to untie them to relieve myself and at my age, that's often. I don't hate on them, they just aren't my thing.
As for saving my tossed sweats, they were likely history when I was typing of their demise.
 
I like to wear as little as possible: so around the house, I usually wear my oh-so-fashionable black micro-fleece robe. The neighbors have all seen me in it. For 21 years I was told what to wear, and how to wear it, every day: now it's MY turn. I like wearing jeans out, although I also have slacks and dressy shirts. I rarely wear sweats out in town unless I'm just taking the garbage or recycling, or going to a medical appointment with the instructions to wear something loose and comfortable.

Suddenly, the thread's turned into a Wardrobe Anonymous meeting :D
 
Personally here is what I mostly wear, just a hoodie, long sleeves or short sleeves variation on the weather and how lazy I can get, or getting my laundry in the machine hahaa, sweat pants around the house and sometimes heading out:

Medical instructions, hitting the gym, or just to my side occupation of where we can blend into the crowd of the campus town,
sometimes at that site too. Variations on how comfortable we can wear something. socks and shoes, no open toe for the majority of it unless I am at the beach.
 
My hearing is in the dirt. Too much hunting/shooting as a kid without protection and then working over five decades in a noisy environment took a toll. But..... I feel blessed that I do not suffer from tinnitus. That has to be a miserable condition and I'm so sorry for anyone that suffers.

I suffer from it, swimming when I was younger, also just part time side occupation with screaming kids really hurts them bad,but before that was uh...
Volenteering at a local church for cleaning duty since I was really young hahaa...

Sometimes nosy arcades too, but not too much when I am an adult since I have my library of ps3 and android games.
 
I blew out my right ear's high-end hearing with a gunfire ordered by the Commanding Officer, No time to get hearing protection: ten rounds of .45 caliber out of the barrel. Mission accomplished but I live with that high-pitch tinnitus sound all the time.

That inhales sharply. I shot many rounds of 9mm and 22 LR as a youth and never thought much about it. My first personal handgun was a Ruger Super Blackhawk in 44mag. It made my ears ring but only for a short time. I guess I was lucky. I can't imagine them ringing all of the time. That's terrible.

I saw at my sister's house, her husband bought Tinnitus oil for the ears, I think he always shops at amazon,so that could be one of the purchase..
 
Can I share something, my sister got into just a whip lash accident outside of a local art supplies dealership, she is doing okay just was lightly driving about 14 mph in the parking lot and the other person hit her lightly at the same speed.
Her second accident.
 
Kansas has a modified no fault system in place for parking lot accidents. The accident claim is filed with the insured vehicle no matter who is at fault. Modified means that the party not at fault can seek additional compensation for substantial injury from the at fault vehicle insurance. I suspect after a few claims against your own insurance when you were not at fault will still increase your premiums. It doesn't sound quite fair.

Sorry about your sister, Milo. I hope she is alright.

On another note, happy anniversary to me! I joined some site called "Android Forums" on November 17, 2009... right after buying my new Motorola Droid. I wanted to learn everything I could about the phone and its crazy new Android operating system. By the end of December, I had rooted it and installed Pete's Bugless Beast ROM on it.

(I still have two OG Droids: one with the flat keyboard and one with the bubble keyboard. Both power up just fine.)

Over the last 16 years, I was a member; a VIP member; a Guide; a Moderator; and now a VIP member again. AF isn't the same, but neither is Android. I'll be here for the duration, though, because the best thing about this place is the awesome people I've met. You guys are like an extended family of sorts. Like every family, we've lost a few loved ones... those of us still here, though, will press on, perhaps for another 16 years. Thank you for being the kind of person I want to hang around with!

I am glad that your moto droid works,well my mother and I did had the same cell at the same time,but she traded it in for an iphone so she can help her boyfriend out..

I still have my edge,and works pretty great, just might stylize my tablet soon,
been attempting in windows for today yikes...

least I have downloaded a tool how to colorized your task bar right on the cue,now to the icons...
 
Speaking of wrecks, @Milo Willamson...

You might recall some two years ago when the Darling Bride was up in the East Tennessee mountains, on a public road, and some crazy kid on a dirtbike came flying around a blind corner and slammed into the center of the Explorer see was driving. That's the moment our 3-channel dashcam paid for itself. He broke his leg; had no insurance; driving on a suspended out of state license; and was cited as fully at-fault by the state trooper working the scene.

Would you believe that, last October and with just days to spare, he filed a lawsuit against her?

I can't go into a lot of the ongoing litigation other than to say that we provided ample video evidence from our dashcam. He's moving this thing forward toward a trial, likely hoping to run up our insurance company's legal expenses enough that they'll offer him a settlement. We've asked them to PLEASE not settle out of principle because the guy was at fault 8 ways to Sunday. We'll know more about how strong they think their case is by the end of the week.

The best thing America could do is pass a "loser pays" law so that the losing party is liable for court costs and legal fees. The docket would clear up overnight as frivolous cases are suddenly dropped. Sadly, the American Ambulance-Chasers Union and lobbyists would never let such a bill see the light of day in Congress.
