Yeah I fell asleep at my sister's house, took a nap about 11 a.m. until like 11:30 yesterday.
I was alright though throughout the day though, yeah got to watch my sister's puppy for a bit too, an odd thing happen with my cell.

The lock screen said 1:30 for a half hour, I reset it was okay and I got paranoid..
I think it was another third party app..From google play.

Yeah I am not touching my cell today, let see what happens when I do not text or call.

Being as it was too cold and windy to ride my bike today, I went to the cabin to grab my extension ladder. I need to clean the leaves out of my gutters when it warms up a bit. The owner of the property drove by while I was loading the ladder and invited me to store my mower down there in one of his out buildings for the winter. Amazingly, the mower started with a bit of gas in the carb and a few pulls. I drove it down to the building he was willing to share a space and put the mower up for the winter. The hard part was walking back to the cabin and my truck. :) He told me he's been in his stand waiting for the big buck again this year. He said he's spotted 21 dear so far but not the big guy he saw a number of times across the summer. I hope he bags Mr. big rack. He always gifts me some dear burger each year which a 50/50 mix makes for a great smoked meatloaf. (a meatloaf recipe shared by @Unforgiven )

I acutally feel a lot better one of the original charater-s I wrote was all ragged and worn down, my other one did the brightest nova over his personality and they are now family.

Three weeks until Christmas!

We told former tax deduction son that we're keeping gifts so low-key this year we're not even putting up a tree (it doesn't help that we're spending this entire week gutting our kitchen so the cabinets can all be redone next week). I know a lot of people get stressed out over Christmas shopping this time of year, so I'm going to share a habit I've gotten into for about a decade:

I start my Christmas shopping on December 26th. As I see things (or think of them) throughout the year, I'll buy them and stash them away. I have a document file in which I write who is getting what for which occasion - birthday, anniversary, Christmas, etc) so I don't forget about anything. As the year progresses, my shopping is increasingly finished and I'm generally done by the end of October, except for a few small things. All I have to do in early December is wrap things/ship them as necessary. It's stress-free and gives me an entire year to plan occasions.
