I've been on this rock for too long now.
I've been driving for longer than the average age of Americans by more than a few years.

I absolutely hate getting into my car, on a cold morning and having the car tell me that the tire pressure is low. Can't they develop a monitor that takes into consideration that the air contracts when it's cold?
Come on, I'm too old for this crap.

It's telling you that the tire pressure is outside the acceptable range.
Part of normal maintenance is to check and adjust the pressures when the seasons change, for this very reason. When we forget to do so the TPMS very kindly lets us know at the first cold snap.
You can thank Ford, some exploding Explorer tires, and a bunch of lawyers for the federally-mandated presence of TPMS in every new vehicle since 2007.

I know, Fox. This is my 4th or 5th vehicle with the TPMS setup. It's just when the first cold snap with driving the car sets it off. When the weather warms up, the system says the pressure shows normal.
IDK.

I'm not a fan but I have had the system give me enough warning to pull off the highway to a safe place to mount the spare. The pressure change due to temp is a PITA! My wife freaks out the first true cold snap each year. There is always one or two tires that will show low.

Today decided to head to the gym, it has been only a few days since I last went there, I just worked on my arms and back.
It felt different vs. the lighter weights I am used to at home for my shoulder excerises, least that pain is vanishing from my shoulders.

I have been able to safely get off the road when the system shows an immediate change in pressure. No issues with it then.

My wife originally had nitrogen filled tires that were supposed to mitigate the seasonal fluctuations in the TPMS. The thing is that whenever the dealership would top off the pressure they'd simply add air.

That's one benefit of getting new tires at Costco. They included road hazard warranty (which I needed when I picked up a nail), lifetime rotation and balance, and nitrogen. I've found that the nitrogen - if it's actual nitrogen and not just nitrogenated air like most service stations offering it - does reduce the pressure variations due to CLIMATE CHANGE... er, "seasonal ambient temperature fluctuations".

action launcher is not the best, because of app drawer settings, it does not specify of the smallest font fit on my android, instead it clears out the name so small, it drives me insane, dispite on the way it was saving my cell by accident. I prefer Smart Launcher, even though it screwes up my keyboard settings. I can still see the lables pretty clear.
