Random Thought Thread

The patio kitty has slowly worked her way into the house. She and the resident cat have yet to become friends. They are at the point where they are giving each other plenty of space. Last night the new kitty slept in my office. I tried to let her outside this morning. She looked long and hard at the patio where she has been hanging out and turned around and walked back into the kitchen. She's a loving little girl but she is still plenty wild. Sudden movements of noises has her into a protect defense mode.
Slowly she is beginning to trust us.
 
LAy to rest is my Moto edge plus as of June the twentieth, gave its last breathe as the final system wipe out I had to use back duration of June Eighth, it fought victory, dust, system wipe outs, battery decay, overheating, love, hate, emotional drunks, on so many whatsapp and ig notifications, it survived. The Wales of time without using A.I.. REst peacefully buddy, I loved you for eight solid years.

Drive does back up your cellphones too, I just noticed it yesterday and kept scratching my head on the small data was connected to it..
And I do not use Drive so I thought.

The patio kitty is now our new pet. She has no desire to leave and if she had a home, it must have been a sorry one. We visited the vet this morning. She got her shots and we scheduled to have her spayed. If someone decides that I have their cat, they owe me fifteen hundred bucks. The mistake was feeling sorry for her, providing food and water, and then letting her in during these brutally hot August / September days. I'm not sorry but I'll be very timid at providing for strays in the future.

So far, the resident cat is not receptive to having a new cat to share what has been her's. A good day is when they have a couple of stare downs and a hiss or two. They still get into it every couple of days or so. It's not the new kitty's fault. And, I can't really blame the resident cat for not wanting to share.
 
Sept. First and my comp has not crashed yet, I call Sept. The cursed month for my comp, almost every time around the sun, this tall cpu of mine suddenly goes to haywire... I am a keeping an eye on it...
 
My Z Fold 6 just became eligible for the One UI 9 Android 17 beta this morning! Thankfully, the kitchen countertops and are cleaned and sealed... and there's nothing else I can do in the kitchen until 1 PM when they're fully cured and I can start moving stuff back onto them. So I may as well do my backups and upgrade the phone :)

That is what I am going to do as well preparing for my moto edge 2026.. I have an emergency hearing aid apt. My right one lost sound.
