Help randomly deleted contacts and some apps?

so i turned my phone on this morning, to find that all my contacts were deleted, and i could see all of my apps, but when i went to go force close some to save battery, youtube wasnt there, pandora wasnt, google maps wasnt, shazam wasnt, facebook wasnt, and most of the apps i had werent there. if it makes a difference, my phone is rooted. should i just do a factory reset??? please help
