Help Randomly get HTC loading screen/reload homescreen apps

Been using another app (doesn't matter which) and at random I'll hit the HOME key and I'll get the white HTC logo screen for a second then back to my home screen where all my apps and widgets are reloading. Called HTC support and they said it shouldn't be doing that and instructed me to do a factory reset (ugh) and slowly put apps back....now here I am on my 2nd reset and it's still doing it.

UGH. Never heard of my iPhone friends having issues like these. (not that they DON'T have issues)

WHen I slowly put apps back I noticed it happened after I installed a Date in Tray app that shows the date in the staus bar. So I uninstalled it and it seemed to be working but now it just happened again.....ARGH!!

Its started this on my incredible. At least its faster than the occasional choke, where I have to remove/install the battery.
