Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

Grrrrr, my 4 year old refrigerator just kicked the bucket!

Time to try to get Sears to honor the 5year refrigerant system warranty. Better get my boxing gloves out.......

Oh...My...God I read that as "my 4 year old grand daughter" at first I started to get sad ....THAT grinded my gears

I'm beginning to think that earbud cords are the new Rubik's Cube.

Learn how to make an electrician's braid.

It takes seconds, unwinds like a sugarbag stitch, and it's easy.

You can send the end through the last loop to keep it from unwinding. I do that for airplane rides where I'll tuck the phone in my top pocket and don't want a mile of cord to tangle with.

T&T Supermarket pre-made meals taste like (unmentionable words go here). YUCK! ...next time A&W.

I dislike the term "pre-made". How do you pre-make something? You make it before you make it? No, the factory made the food, it was distributed to your local grocer, and you bought it

Btw I'm just ranting at the word, I know stores really do call a lot of stuff "pre-made". We have such an odd language..

Pre-prepared? You didn't make it, you cooked it. ;)

Good news is my fridge is 100% covered under warranty, bad news is they won't be back with parts for another week. :(
