Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

I hate people who can't walk correctly.

That really gets me, you are walking down the street and someone is walking towards you so out of courtesy you move out of the way and at the same time they do too, so you move to counteract their movement and they do the same, you end up wanting to fling them across the road so you can continue your journey rather than doing some crazy dance in the street.

Yeah, that happens quite a bit, doesn't it.

However, I get even more mad when people don't show any kind of courtesy. Where I live, many people try to act tough on the street, so when you are about to collide with them, you either move or you push them out of the way, because they won't move for you. I would like for everyone to move half-way, but usually I end up either doing all the work or bumping shoulders with them to make them understand that they're idiots lol.

I HATE people who start some turnkey business that relies on the internet, email, e-marketing, and web based software, and DO NOT want to put the time into learning it.

You ask them what kind of computer they have, and they say "AOL". You tell them to find a file on their desktop, and they tell you they are using a laptop on their couch.

Killing is illegal.

Skinny dudes in skinny jeans, saggin' ...

Fat/chubby dudes in skinny jeans . . . saggin'

Tourist that randomly stop right in front of you to take a picture.
Dancers on the train . . . save that crap for the stations
20+ year old's selling candy on the train
People that don't take their backpacks off on a crowded train

lol, I feel you with the skinny jeans. In fact, I hate skinny jeans on all guys and most girls actually...

About the train stuff...where are you from?

New York City . . . The most random things occur on the Subway.

LOL, I had a feeling. I live in the NY area as well (Hudson County, NJ). I've seen some pretty crazy things in New York. I even went to school there for my freshman year (high school). I had to take that damn subway every day...scary stuff haha.

I've lived in both NY and NJ and there are two things I don't miss first is driving on the L.I.E.(NY) and second is paying to go to the beach(NJ)....

The MTA's "Doomsday" budget. They're tryin' to close a $15 billion dollar gap. Why didn't they think of this when they were handin' out all that money to the damn execs?!

Speaking of the cold.....

I was trying to shovel the front of my house, but we had a crappy crappy shovel (more like a cheap plow, which eventually broke that day) and nothing to remove ice, so i had no choice but to give up until the next day when my dad bought new shovels and ice melt...

So I was in my house on the day I gave up. I had just walked into the house and I was sitting near the front door. The door was closed, but unlocked since I was right there. Some dude straight up opens my door and smells HEAVILY of cigarette smoke, and he asks if we want our sidewalk shoveled. WTF?!?!?! What in the world is wrong with people? The dude walks up my steps smoking, probably tosses the cigarette somewhere on my property, "breaks" into my house, and expects me to pay him to shovel for me? What an idiot....

I don't know what bothers me more...stupidity or ignorance?

He opened the door to your house??!

Lucky guy! Some people (like myself) react rather quickly to red flags like that - and ask the questions later.

Yeah, afterwards I thought about it and I was like "why didn't I punch him in the face?" I dunno, I guess I'm more of a defensive person that offensive in situations like that lol.
