Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

I think I did download the wrong third party app for volume control,I am glad it shuts off the beeps when turning the main volume down..But the sound is like listening to a CD that has been skipped over a million tracks over and over...

Problem solved, it was with my widex hearing aids when they do connect, asked "verizon sound needs to be off.." So I did that for a number of months or so..
But it works with it.

My rant for today :
Cable TV vs. Streaming TV.
So I ditched cable years ago to save money.
But now almost all of the streaming TV choices are raising their prices!
Ugh, we can't catch a break!
I might have to ditch it all and go back to using an antenna like the good old days, and NO COST!!!

Earlier this night I spent 1:54 finding a movie to watch, it was 1:54 long. Anyway, I chose Salem's Lot (2024) and it was decent, not true to the book but based upon it, and I was just saying I usually like the books better in the 'what are you currently reading thread' yet found this an OK adaptation. Love me some Stephen King in general so it's all good...

I had to an fdr since my Square, access all apps was not functioning right, I had to hit it a few times to make the window pop out..
So far so good.

I am getting better :D :):thumbsupdroid: when I use to misplace or loose stuff on the truck i would tear the place apart looking for the item and then go buy a replacement for the item or items only to find them hours or days later.
Yesterday I misplace one of my Knit caps, but instead of having a mental break down :goofydroid: over it my attitude was it's around here somewhere and If not I have spares

I saw my recent ex today.
Still her perfume for a second reminds me of all the "fun" times we only shared at the store.
Too bad I never looked forward for the empty sunshine again for a tomorrow.

Windshield washer fluid. Why, why does it come in gallon containers? No car I've ever driven holds that much so there's always just the tiniest little piddly amount left that you have to store but it's not enough for another fill up and such an amount for a top off is just stupid and not even really a top off. Gah! Makes me crazy.
And don't get me going on not being able to find windshield wiper replacement blades, not the whole assembly, just the blades.
I have no complaints about air filters, changing that didn't set me off.

Wanna know the shortest burst though?
My machine had windows ten about a few months or so back, until I accidently typed up "Upgrade" on accident and got an in system pop up for windows 11,
I am just perfectly happy with ten, Microsoft would you be like your namesake and do not be like spam so much?
Thank you.

I got up like a few minutes when I was washing my feet and my middle toe of my left foot hurts, I knew my sister's puppy accidently bit it though, but no tooth marks though, eh.. Old people rant.

@Clementine_3 it's a social engineering design to TALK with other people and help them by offering to put that piddly leftover amount in their washer reservoir. If everyone pays it forward, even enough for one or two windshield washes, think of what a better world it would be :)
So wait. You're saying that instead of tossing it in the garage I should put it on the front passenger side floor and accost strangers in the parking lot of the grocery store? Huh. I guess it's a working theory, and i did like that movie, but I'm not buying the whole social engineering design line. Besides, I dumped it in my reservoir after I changed the rear wiper blade (the whole damn assembly!) but before I changed the air filter so I'll have to wait 'til I get a new whole stupid gallon of it before I consider executing this bird brained endeavor.

I guess that used to be a problem but I think these days the numbers actually do match. The real hassle is batteries. How many in a package is never how many the item takes.
