The human race is doomed anyway. As a species we are too greedy, aggressive, selfish, tribalistic etc. I reckon Agent Smith got it right - we're a virus on this planet, consuming all natural resources, destroying other species, until nothing is left.
Ultimately planet Earth will shrug us off, recover and continue as if nothing happened.
Anyway, y'all have a good day now

In fact no they are horrible for the suspension, as are the lion's share of all custom wheels. Now that said, if you put in the work doing your research you can get custom wheels in the correct offset (as well as lug pattern and center bore) in reasonable sizes and you're ok. Just no one does that anymore. All anyone wants is 24 inch DUB's or wheels that stick out the sides and make it look like a tank.
Anyway.
You'd see them driving those cars through flooding, etc when I lived in Florida. Don't know if that was an unintentional benefit to the huge rims but it sure was funny to watch. They aren't as common here in Texas.
Not on cars at least. Now it's trucks so tall I can't see traffic lights. I can practically drive my tiny Yaris under their lifted monster truck style creations.

Hello everybody! I'm a cursor! Whether mouse or finger I never go where you want, and if you wish to copy something by finger Ima just gonna jump all over the place for no f$@%#&ing reason and many times the copy button wont even pull down! Aint I just great! And no, that's not a question! I really am that great and the fact that no one has "fixed" me yet proves it! No matter how many years or versions or updates go by I will always do everything but what you want! Tee Hee!
Not having work to go to is much worse. Trust me. Much worse. Even if you dont have to go.

My Rant for the week...
I am sick and tired for my boss controlling every aspect of my life...
Do to my boss's edict...She has to be asked to approve my inclusion in any meetings.
She has to approve before I am asked to do any aspect of my job.
Lastly, because of her edict, and the agreement of HR, I am prohibited form eating lunch, during work hours, with anyone! I am required to eat lunch by myself at my desk
I am really getting sick-and-tired of being Controlled!

No, my boss just doesn't like me talking to anyone...and she also wants to be the one to 'task' me...and not allow anyone else to 'task' me...she wants to be the one to approve or not approve any work that I am given

Well I can understand the need for not having you given tasks by others, but I think the measures imposed on you are unreasonable. I don't blame you for feeling over-controlled, I would feel the same.
And yes, micro management isn't usually a good thing.

Sounds like time to get a different job.
Unless you are a complete idiot who can't complete the simplest tasks without adult supervision, this kind of management only creates problems.
MY rant: documents containing command-line instructions that use proportional fonts. The people installing a network on one of my planes spent forty minutes last night trying to correctly enter a simple instruction because none of us could guess where the spaces were supposed to go. (I only spent ten minutes on it... I'd be up for twenty hours and it was a loooong day).
There is a big difference between sudo make me -a sandwich and sudo make me -a sandwich

Don't you just hate it when someone remembers something you did in the past, and dredges it up to use against you in an argument? Doesn't matter what the argument is about, there's something you did that can be used against you. Might even have been 13 years ago.

My job is very stressful and micromanaged like crazy, down to each break, lunch, meeting, etc. However, this just sounds utterly absurd. I would have quit my job ages ago if my boss was like that. My HR is terribly uncaring and treats me like I'm a plague but at least my supervisor is decent. I feel for you, that sounds like a nightmare.

I'll tell ya what's driving me nuts lately. All of the discussion forums I belong to (there's about 6 or 8 these days) are super duper slow lately. I mean like nutting going on. And doggone it I read and participate in these things to keep my mind from turning to mush over the expanse of my 9 hour work days. Darn it people, don't you realize you're killing me slowly here? Now get out there and ENTERTAIN ME!!!! LOLERZ....
But seriously I need more daily stimulus. Anyone have any suggestions about other forums that are still jumping? (I already have car, boat, comics, travel, tech blogs and boards covered)

Looks like your problem is no one wants to think beyond superficialities anymore
I think there are fewer forum participants that are less active. I don't know what is contributing to the down turn but I sure hate it. Forums are a great media to share thoughts and gain insight. The less cherries in the pie, the flatter it is. It still tastes the same but is far less filling.

UPDATE...
Bad news for me today...I am now on a Process Improvement Program at my job...meaning one more screw up and I am terminated.
Soooo...I am required to be veeeerrryyy carefully what I say and do
From here on out, if I am caught saying anything negative about my boss to anyone...I am terminated.
And, of course I am required to do what I am told to do by my boss, and only what I am told to do, and nothing more.
So honestly, I will do what I can do to keep my job for now, since right now the job market, for the skills I have, sux right now, but I am going to to update my resume.
