RCS texting , non google chat.

Looking for one, since my sister and mother group texts me all the time, and my next sms does not have that feature, so my question is, anyone have any app that suits the needs?

Hi all,

Sorry to create a new thread on a question that seems to be asked frequently from my searches, but I couldn't find anything definitive. I have friends with iPhones / Droids that frequently use group texting for plans and the like; however, I always receive the messages individually and have to reply back individually. (have no issue sending to multiple people if I start, just don't keep a threaded string thereafter).

I think I have handcent as my default messaging service (notifications off on the stock messaging service). Within this, I have checked the group text in...

what do you mean that you receive and reply individually in group text? are the messages not in one conversation? do you only see individual replies and onoy send text to an individual? i use google messages and i have no issues with group texts with people in the group who have icraps or android phones.

try looking at your group messaging settings. or maybe try a different messaging app.

I do not like using much google messenger since it stinks sometimes, but yeah I have tried Next Sms like forever ago, and you posted in this thread. So messenger bit the hand it feeds you man.
