Help re portable hdd

With ver 3.2 do you still need to format the hdd to fat32 or can it be the ntsf. I read that it needed to be far32. I am storing my DVD movies on it for long trips. I also am using a program from Aura software to convert my dvd's to android format. Are there any other suggestions that anyone may have. Thanyou for your time and support.

NTFS and FAT32 both work with HC3.2.
I don't think there is such a thing as android format for video. I tried various formats and ended up with xvid avi which seems to works with every video app. H.264 mp4 also seems to work OK.

Check out Mizuu app in the market it is truly awesome.

Mizuu has a built in player, but I use MX player as it has great on-screen playback controls.
(also install player codec ARMv7)

Fresh out of the box the only video files you can play are MPG4 and 5. After you do all the updates you can paly a few more video files but a good aftermarket video player takes care of playing video files. I use MOBO player with all the co deks and seem to be able to play just about any thing I throw at it. Also MX player is good.
