Read a PDF right out of the box?

Hi all,

I'm going to be picking up my EVO today (YAY) and am wondering can it read PDFs right out of the box? I'm hoping I can put the online manual I've downloaded onto it and read the manual off the phone at work.

Either way, did I mention "yay" yet?

yes w/ the pdf reader app, but the adobe reader app in the market is better.

Yup, works great. It also has a document viewer built in for excel, word, etc files. Sadly, I haven't found any apps that can search these documents. Converting to PDF works wonders.

Docs To Go allows you to search.

Where within the EVO's SD card's root directory would you drop a pdf file?
Will the EVO pick up the file if I created a separtate folder just for pdfs?

There is also an app on the phone with good how to's on it. It's called HTC mobile guide.
