I set up a yahoo mail account on my HTC Desire HD that I recently purchased.
I noticed that when a mail message is read on the web interface on my PC (i.e. on the server side), it still appears as unread on the HTC.
On the flip side, if I read the message on the HTC, it gets updated as read on the server. Also - if I delete it on the server it gets delted on the HTC.
I also have an exchange account running and on that one it seems to update the read / unread indicator correctly.
Is this an issue or is this "as designed". I previously used Iphone and I remember that when I read messages on the web interface they then appeared correctly as having been read on the Iphone.
