Root ready to root - which version to use?

Hi folks.

Picked up a NC and microSD card, so I'm ready to roll. My question is - which version of Android should I install? Which is most stable?

I'd like flash support, if that affects your answer.

Thanks!

2.2 (Froyo).

Are you going to run off uSD card, or install to memory?

Honeycomb still has a few bugs running on the NC, but also not bad.

I'm planning on installing to memory, since resetting to factory condition seems to be an option after rooting, from what I've heard.

2.2 is the only version on the Nook right now that officially supports Flash.

Nookie Froyo is where its at. Good luck to you.

With froyo, if I surf to a page with a flash video, does the video play smoothly on the NC?

Smooth is a very subjective term. It plays well enough to watch it. Try searching youtube for "Nook Color with Froyo/Nookie Froyo" and browsing for a flash demo.
