Really Easy Question!

Hello everyone!
I hope your all having a great day, i have a pretty obvious and stupid question... But oh well! I am wondering (implying the picture below) what the circled task bar on the home screen is called. I have been trying to search for addons, potential mods and such for it. I'm trying to figure out if it has an "official" name for it, as i want to limit my search results when searching for extras. Ive just been typing like, "desktop tray ...dah.. dah..". But i get mixed results, i want to limit and pinpoint my findings with the exact name (if it has one!) Thanks guys!

P.S. I have the same phone model, so i'm not sure if the circled task bar is unique to my specific phone model.. If someone can inform me of this too, it would be appreciated as well! It seems universal to Android though..

Anyways, I believe that bottom row is called the "rosie" or "bottom dock".

I always called that the dock too. I was apparently taught that by the Launcher Pro nomenclature

the term "rosie" is meant only for the htc phone's using the sense launcher:

@TylerRossi what launcher do you have? it looks like adw, but i'm not sure as i do not use that one. anyways......it is called a dock and it is part of most launchers. some have the dock designed differently. for me i like nova prime or go launcher, but there are plenty of others as well you can try.

Samsung's manual calls that part the dock, but Samsung does have its own launcher. Why not just install a launcher to change that.

I was just curious where the word ‘dock’ came from to name that area. It seemed like no manuals used that word, until your Samsung reference. Mystery solved, apparently.
