Root really effed up my phone...plese help

I deleted some system app i shouldnt have but i am getting "homescreen (process com.motorola.home)" some contacts. gapp or something force close errors. i was a first time rooter and didnt know what i was doing and didnt backup my phone. im stuck in a force close endless loop when phone is booted. someone please help me.
 
sorry to hear that.. you really need to ask this in the rooted section of your phone forum... there would be more people that can help there.

but.. one fix that i would do...
can you still boot into the recovery? where you can flash ROMs?
If so, then just reflash the ROM you had. You will have to wipe all data..everything!
 
i do not have this phone, but as long as you have a recovery you should be fine. just go into recovery, wipe everything and re-flash your rom. once things are back to normal make sure to make a backup before doing anything else.

also another idea before you delete things is to get titanium backup(free) and the pro key(not free) and freeze things first. once you know that your phone is stable then you can delete things. it is much safer that way.

boom, i must ask:
Did you have a ROM installed?
if you did just wipe data and cache and reinstall the rom, it should put everything back.

if you didnt have a rom installed, are you able to do anything with the phone once it boots up?
if you can get to the sd card, download a rom from your PC, and transfer it to your SD card, boot to recovery droid bionic bootstrapper or safestrap will work. and wipe data and install the rom, and your phone should work fine again.

however if this is not the case, you need to SBF back to stock.

VS, I hope boombasticals at least got a chuckle out of our antics while he works on his phone.

boom, I know that post may look daunting at first, but it is actually pretty simple once if you follow the steps. It's been a while since I used an SBF (I bricked my D2) but they can restore a Moto Droid from almost any bricking situation and should definitely work for yours.

I'll cheer you on in the thread and answer where I can, VS is here too and since he has done the SBF on a device like yours he'll be able to answer questions too.
 
it is a very simple process, at first it is challenging, but make sure your battery is at least 50% charged!!!!

that part is very important.
the rest is very easy to follow. It may take a while for your phone to boot (2-5 minutes) and it may reboot a few times, dont be alarmed it happens, it will boot back up.

im working on it man its just all a foreign language.
 
If getting into recovery and trying a factory reset or flashing a rom doesn't work, then you'll need to get the program RSDLite downloaded onto your computer and an FXZ file to force your phone back to a stock software version.

Follow the guide. We've all been there before where it seems like a foreign language to us, just read everything carefully and you should be okay.

Also now you've learned an important lesson, never uninstall anything related to the main Google apps, leave maps, gmail, google talk, etc alone because if you remove one wrong thing it can cause a lot of issues. And it's better to use an app like Titanium Backup which allows you to "freeze" apps rather than uninstall them, which basically stops them from loading on the phone and you can see if everything still works. If it causes some kind of error, you can go right back in and unfreeze the app to get back to normal. Whereas fully uninstalling something just rips it out of the rom and then if there's a problem you can't get it back.

how did you make out? there is a modified fxz file in that thread that will let you keep your data but fix your system.
