Help Reappearing email?

I received an email yesterday that keeps reappearing in my inbox despite numerous deletions. I also have a Touch and it is not reappearing in my inbox there so I'm fairly certain it's an issue with my phone.

Any thoughts/suggestions? Ironically, it's a verizon.net address (or perhaps that helps to explain the problem...?)

Have you tried removing and re-adding the account?
The same was happening for my MobileMe account & Gmail account, at completely separate times, for about a week each, until I removed the account with the issue.
Once I re-added the account, the issue immediately stopped & hasn't returned.
