Reason for return

Just sent my Nexus back and went back to the DroidX. I really liked ICS but I had issues that I just could not overcome. I live in a rural area and hit some rough coverage patches. I have owned phone from the first Blackberry phones, MS phones (HTC and Samsung) DroidX and Bionic and even had an iPhone for a week. This phone really struggled keeping a signal. I had tons of dropped calls, worse than any other phone. Turning the LTE off did not help.

I test phones for my company, so far all the 4G phones I have tested have had bad battery life but this one was the worst by far. I think they will resolve this, its most likely just new OS issues and such.

The verizon navigation dock does not put the phone in landscape view. There is no magnet in this phone. Made it a pain in the neck to use the phone when docked.

The phone app crashed a lot for me. Videos frequently were corrupted (to be fair I had this with the DroidX as well) The picture quality wasnt great. For the flagship I really thing they should have tried to match the iphone quality.

Music output was flat, bass output seemed to be terrible until I downloaded the app equalizer to have a bass boost. Between that and Volume+ I was able to get decent sound but Volume+ crashed on me all the time.

Going to keep an eye on the forums, I love the screen although this was the worst screen in the sunlight ever. I literally could not see it at all when driving. Verizon told me about 2 patches coming, one at months end and one in March. I would have been past the return date but hopefully they get it together.

Sorry you had such a terrible experience. Other than the poor battery life, I have not had one of those other issues.... what really surprises me is your comment on the screen in the sunlight.. The screen on my phone is gorgeous, bright, and amazing. Maybe you got a dud. Good luck on your next phone
