Root Reboot after screen lock and then bootloop

What the hell is wrong with this phone? It would shut off after screenlock and reboot, and then it started boot looping... What do I do???

I can't get LGNPST to install properly on my PC; I kept having trouble. This is my second Esteem; and I did this endless exchange BS with the Optimus M. Is there a simple way to get my phone back to working order, rooted, and reliable?

Do a hard reset. Both Vol keys + Power key, after vibrate release power key and wait for letters in screen, realese vol keys and follow steps on the screen.
