Root Reboot and Recovery Option in Power Menu on Gingerbread? :(

I have a Motorola Droid with stock Gingerbread and I was wondering how I would go about getting the reboot and recovery options on the power menu :)

Is your phone rooted? If not, you're posting in the wrong section. Otherwise, I guess a custom GB rom, like a CyanogenMod would do the trick.

good luck

They give you the option to reboot recovery, etc., but you are right, they don't add them to the power menu.

yeah, it is all about the addition to the power/sleep menu. no widget needed and no app to open. that's the goal.

I agree 100%

BUT, the OP did say "Got an app that did these functions though" so I wondered if he found something I did not know of.

I am guessing he was just looking for something like Quick Boot to give him the option of booting into recovery or bootloader (just have to open up the app, not from the power button menu). Even though you can do that all using the physical keyboard on the Droid, if you don't do it a lot, I can see the possible issue of forgetting how to do it...

And that is why I posted what I did, I took it that he said he found something that did it for him, albiet not specificially in the power menu.

+1 ^^^ this.

again.. I digress to the title. it says it all.

there are numerous fast and quick and advanced reboot apps and widgets. I use one. but thats not what the OP said he wanted and not, ultimately, would I would like. and, those have always been easy to find in the Market.

I have found some hacks outside of full ROMs, but yet to try.
