Root Reboot due to heat?

My elite has recently began rebooting itself then licking up on intro screen. It seems to do it while I am using it and I do notice it get very warm. Could heat cause this? Any suggestions about how to fix this heat related or not?

If the phone does overheat, then it can reboot because of this. However, we're talking about >110 degrees. If it overheats and reboots within, say, an hour or less - that sounds like a manufacturer's defect (your warranty covers this).

Welcome to the wonderful world of the OE.

Mine always seemed to do that when connected to the network.
I always hated the OE. Held onto for a long time so I didn't lose my grandfather plan.
A few days ago I could not take it anymore. Was not sure I was going to try another LG phone or not. Had the OV first, great phone. Then tried the OE. What a POS! I had to do something and people seem to really like the Optimus F3.

So I bought an Optimus F3.... It's so nice when a phone works the way it's supposed to. LG has redeemed themselves for the junk OE..
Loving this phone, should have done it sooner.
