Root reboot/power off not working on PM6.3

Has anybody else run into this? Neither reboot nor power off cause my nook to actually shut down, they will just sit on the "rebooting" or "shutting down" dialogue with the spinning circle until I hold down the hardware power button to force it manually.

Someone else had the problem, but I don't recall if they resolved it. I believe they flashed to a nightly build to fix the problem.

Does your NC say "Read Forever" during boot?
Did you flash a custom kernel?

I have this problem on my wifes NC. I still haven't fixed it. After a bit it quit working too and wont leave the boot screen now. I haven't had time to mess with it again yet.

Switched to CM 7.1.0 and all is well.

You mean 7.1.0 RC1 (release candidate). You had me going there. :D

I'd wait until 7.1.0 stable comes out in the next couple days and update to that. You can find stable and nightly versions here: CyanogenMod Mirror Network - Powered by TDRevolution

I'll update my CM7 install post when that comes out.

Haven't found any issues with RC1 yet, liking it alot better than phiremod 6.3 so far. If only they could get rid of the chipmunks in Netflix without the htc build.prop edit, it would be perfect. Easy to fix, but it worked fine on phiremod without changing anything.
