Reboot speed

Lo,

thougt I saw in previews of this that it booted in about 10 secs- seems about a minute and a half.

Anyone else experiencing slow(ish) boots?

Well there are reboot and reboots. The former is what we are used to and that will still take ages, the latter is more like a "sleep" and may or may not reset your phones state. As I don't have that phone (yet) thats all I know.

As I currently need to reboot my phone to get DNS to work after changing between 3G and WI-FI, I'm hoping that if I still need to do it it will be the quick "boot" that fixes it...

I've got a hundred apps approix, but surely all these areb't called at boot so I don't see why that would affect it so greatly.

Any more info on the sleep one you mentioned? Not seen anything on the phone so far re. it

The restart takes a moment or two yes,but when turning it on from being off it is really quik, guess whih button isnt working on my keyboard(work p) right now lol, here is a lue

Hmm,,still dont get where the quasi-hibernate mode is, or how to activate it. Is this from off via the button on top?

All quick boot is really is like safe mode on a computer but in hibernation mode.

Example

Loads the components of the core android and then when boots up goes and starts the rest as a background task.
