Hi,
I had this problem with my previous ZTE Blade - the phone randomly rebooted (say twice a day), usually when the phone wasnt doing anything difficult (like placing icons on the desktop etc.) - when under stress (like stability test, fast discharge or angry birds), it was OK. This was strange.
So I decided to give it back and purchase Nexus S instead. It came yesterday and did exactly the same - angry birds ok, update ok, bud then I was just scroling through screens and it rebooted itself. Right after that a stability test test ran OK all the night. Weird.
Im not sure if the phone asks you for PIN number for the SIM card after this kind of reboot but I believe it does - and during this restart, it did not. So I started to blame the SIM card, which is old and scratched. Today, I charged the phone full, inserted my other sim from another carrier (first was O2, the second is Vodafone - much younger, less used) and am going to test.
Is it possible those exactly same reboots on two different phones are caused by the SIM or maybe the operator?
