Help rebooting question

I have a droid x and occasionally it will just reboot for no reason. I just sent an email and it rebooted. What gives?

try a hard reset. if that doesnt help, take it back to verizon.

I figured this wasn't something that was supposed to be happening. i just wasn't sure if I was doing something odd. I just reset it and will keep my eye on it. Thank you.
