Help Reboots

I have owned my Bionic for over 6 moths now and leaving the Thunderbolt and its random reboots behind was wonderful. Now over the past couple of weeks, my Bionic has begun acting like the TB. I have had several spontaneous inconvenient reboots...some after sending a text, some after ending a call, and one yesterday in the middle of a call.

I'm having flashbacks. I'm also having data drops in an area that has been very well covered with 4G for a long time now.

Anyone else having reboots? I'm stock unrooted on 902.

I do not seem to have the reboots anymore, but I do still have data drop issues. I did have my SIM card swapped out last month, but I can't really pinpoint when the reboots stopped, and could be attributed to the update or the new SIM card.

I would start by pulling the battery, removing the SIM and SD-ext cards. Make sure the pins are clean. Reinsert both and make sure they are squarely and se curly seated. Close it up and see if the problem goes away.

I had done the battery/sim card pull to force a re-register with the network. I also pulled the SD card and checked it (which I hadn't done). I'm not sure how or why, but I haven't rebooted now for a couple days. I'm kinda thinking it might have been a tower issue because I was driving when these occurred and all of them occurred within the same 1/2 mile area.

Hopefully whatever the issue was is now resolved.

One other thing to think about - since this happened on two different handsets - is that perhaps you are having an issue with one of your apps? It's hard to diagnose, but you could look at which apps that you may have added in the past few weeks, or which that had updates, to see if you can find one.

I have come to the point that I regularly weed apps out. If I haven't used it in a month, I wonder why I have it on my phone.

I appreciate the responses and ideas. I decided this morning to wipe the phone clean and I reflashed the current software using RSD Lite. I will slowly add apps back and watch performance as I do. Hopefully I can isoate the culprit.
