Received your replacement note? Post here!

I called my closest Verizon corporate store on 9/21 and they had the new Note 7 in stock, but I knew I wouldn't be able to get to the store until today. Well, of course, when I got there today at 10am sharp, they no longer had any Note 7 phones. They checked other "nearby" corporate stores and they had them in silver and black, but no blue. I don't want silver or black, I want blue. I have a blue LED Samsung case and it looks great with the blue phone I bought at the beginning of the month. That's the color I want, period. She said, she doesn't know when they will get more blue phones but Verizon has extended the exchange program until January. So, I have until January to make the exchange with no fees. Samsung better ship more blue phones and soon!

Until then, I have a gold s7 Edge and it's very pretty and all, but I want my Note 7 back.

ETA: I did call Verizon and receive the $25 inconvenience credit to my account that I was originally denied.

I hope I am not getting Best Buy in trouble for this post, but they told me when I received my replacement Note 7's, that Samsung did not want the original boxes or their contents back, ONLY THE HANDSET!!! Now I have 4 of everything that came in the original boxes and 1 extra STYLUS/PEN!!! SO, the recall was not completely negative.....

My replacement is coming direct from Samsung who DO want everything back. I've checked multiple times. Faulty note had to be boxed up with all accessories.

Yes, I love the S-pen. I tried to use the S-pen from my old Note 3 to draw a diagram on my s7 Edge, but it doesn't work. Doggone them.

That's actually one of the things I noticed with the Note7. It's not backwards compatible with older S-Pen's. I have a Bamboo Wacom stylus (specifically made for Samsung devices) that I've used with my Note 2/3 and 8/10.1 2k14 tablets. It didn't work with the Note7.

Divinity83, did you speak with a Verizon online rep? I got them to mail my replacement phone to me and then took my old phone back to the local corporate store. Swapped black for the blue while I was at it. Ask them nicely and explain about the store being out and see if that gets you the same results I got. It's worth a try.

My replacement has been stuck like this since Saturday.. Note 7 is backed up, factory reset and boxed up. So frustrating knowing nothing and being in limbo possibly having to leave family to do an exchange while I'm at work.

I spoke to Samsung this morning they said they left a voice mail.. (they didn't) saying it was ready to be released if I wanted it earlier than my agreed date as they now have plenty of stock. So I've been assured it's coming tomorrow. I've backed up to cloud so hoping for an easy (fairly quick) restore and I'll be up and running.

No, but I will try that, thanks! I saw the blue was backordered online, but ships by October 12th. I would much rather do the switch at home than in store anyway, so if they ship me the replacement, that would be great.

I think mine's a little better, but I wouldn't say significantly.

Right now I'm showing 80%, and I'm at 5hr 43m on battery. Usage =
Android System: 22%
Android OS: 18%
Screen (25m time on) 16%
Google Play Services: 14%
Cell Standby: 10%
Phone Idl: 5%
and my emails and Bluetooth are showing 4, 3 & 3%

I got a free 256GB SD card, so I agree......(I didn't trade the phone in, I just returned it and went back to my Note 4).

I am definitely getting better battery life. But the new phone gets hotter on my wireless charger. Go figure.

My replacement note 7 is sitting at home charging nicely. I'll set it up from Samsung cloud when I get in from work tonight. I have yet to be informed by Samsung UK of any sort of apology gift (they did say that was happening a while back but heard nothing) but did get to keep my free VR and case. I'm just happy to be getting my n7 back.

So, my relative took delivery for me, on the "replacement" T-Mobile Note 7 that I bought from a 3rd party. Just wanted to double check with everyone in here. Did the Green battery indictor update push through right away, after initial setup? Or did you manually have to check for update?

So, I had to share my experience with you all. As I had mentioned on here, I had initially opted to return my Note 7 and receive a refund, with the possibility of going in for my replacement device. When the day came, on the 21st, for availability of the replacements, I decided not to go get my replacement and wait for a couple factors 1) Price drop or 2) Special promotion during the holidays.

The time waiting for a "great deal" didn't last long. As I was searching through Swappa (for those of you not familiar, it's a great place to buy/sell used phones and sometimes new), I came across a trusted seller (in searching Note7) that had a few listings of Note7's on there. Initially, I was very skeptical, as you never know what kind of scams could be posted on sites, even with trusted sellers. That said, I read the reviews and it just seemed too good to be true. The price was dropped on a silver one, to below 800 and I had to jump on it. I just received it today (via USPS priority) and went through the update just to make sure it was a valid V2 (e.g. "new battery") Note7. The box already had the black square and indicated V2, but I had to rush through the initial setup, just to verify. Sure enough, it was good to go! Update had the green battery indicator.

For those interested, this is the seller's profile.

I will without a doubt buy from this seller again.

It doesn't show note 7 anywhere in the choices.

Hmmm, here is a cut from the official terms. I don't see Note 7 listed either.
