Help Receiving MMS problem

A few times (3-5) when my friends send me MMS messages, all the phone says is Downloading Message size 32kg etc etc. It does not download the picture or whatever they are sending me. I end up having to delete the text because it never downloads. Has anyone had this happen to them? I have a Samsung Captivate and I am using the messaging program that came with the phone.

I have the same problems sometimes. It gives me trouble trying to send picture messages sometimes too.
