Recent Apps List Bug

Does it happen for anyone else that the recent Apps screen often is blank when it shouldn't be?

Example, you have a handful of apps running, on the home screen press the recent app button, and the recent app screen is blank. Press the button again to return to the home screen. Press the recent app key again and this time the recent app screen is populated as it should be.

This happened from time to time on my Note 2, and even occasionally on my N7 2013, but it sometimes feels as much as 50 percent of the time on my AT&T G3.

Anybody else having this?
 
Yeah, this happens to me all the time! Not a big deal, but it is kind of annoying... I'm not rooted, using Nova Launcher Prime. Also on AT&T.
 
Yea, extremely annoying!

Hopefully this makes the list of bugs that need to be addressed in some upcoming update.
 
I thought this was only happening to me. It's a very odd bug, it's not a deal breaker but annoying.
 
Same issue.

And my Instagram won't refresh unless I kill the app via the recently used app drawer, then relaunch. I've emailed Instagram about that, no response. Is that their issue or my phone again?
 
Yeah, that's been mentioned here a few times. You're not the only one that's seen it.

EDIT: The above is in reference to the recent apps, not Instagram.
 
I'm using Nova launcher, and don't have any issues with the recently used apps. Try clearing the cache for the launcher app, then force closing and restarting it, and see if that helps.

Don't use instagram, so don't have any ideas there.
 
Issue still happens after clearing the cache. Here is what I did:

1) Closed all apps
2) Cleared cache
3) Opened 5-6 apps
4) Hit recently used apps button - Result: Blank
5) Hit home button
6) Hit recently used apps button - Result: Apps show up
