So I tried to get Shadowgun on my S2 yesterday and found Chainfire 3D wasn't working at all - couldn't Fix Market Settings, couldn't play games that had previously worked, just complete no go.
I recently flashed to CheckROM and thought it might have been something to do with that, and after a bit of fruitless troubleshooting worked out that the latest Superuser build (bundled with the ROM) doesn't seem to like CF3D.
You just need to flash back an older build in recovery, and then update the SU binaries and it will work again. It took a few flashes to find a working one, but this is the one I used.
