Root Recently rooted Coolpad Quattro, what can I do with it?

I recently rooted my Coolpad Quattro (first time ever rooting an android! Woo! ) and I was wondering, what exactly are roms? How do I install them? what roms are compatible with the coolpad quattro? Sorry to sound like a n00b, but I'm new to phone rooting.

how did or what method worked for the coolpad . i just got its a temp phone till i fix my zte avid .Reallly the battery sucks on the cool pad .shutsoff even tho im pluged in and cant retain a decent charge.anyways so tell me what process method you used

A welcome to these forums to both of you. You both might gain from checking out the root area for your Coolpad. There might well be a discussion of what bloatware that can be safely removed after root already. I know there is the root thread where you can find the means to root.
