Help Reception at home has gone from bad to horrible!!

Is there any advice or input as to why my reception on my Droid Inc has gone from bad, but tolerable around the house to HORRIBLE in the last week or so? Basically I can't even talk on it, because the sound quality sounds so robotic and distorted...Not sure what I can do beside battery pull and *228 all of which doesn't work....The phone otherwise has the same amount of signal strength it always did around the house. The phone speed and all apps work perfect...Just horrible call quality around the house. I love this phone so much, I am way past the return date which I wouldn't consider anyway...I am just wondering if I may need a replacement now for some strange reason. Phone has never been dropped either...Thanks again everyone!

Nah, mine has done it since I pulled it out of the box this morning. Fine everywhere else, bad at home. Once I did *228 and programmed it selecting option 2 for Roaming capabilities, it fixed it pretty much.
