Help Recieving emails issue.

Hi folks

So, ever since I system updated my phone I am no longer recieving emails automatically to my phone. I have to physically go into my inbox to retrieve them.

I have been told that this is because I have got 'background data' switched off. But I swear I was getting my emails automatically beforehand and I had background date switched off most of the time.

Help.

What email app are you using?

Also, have you tried turning background data on to see if it makes any difference?

Hi. I am just using the standard Mail app.

I have tried turning background data on. It works for a while but is certainly not 100% right.

But the main point being I used to get my emails through automatically with background data OFF.
