Help Reckless Racing not playable

The music, sound effects, and visuals stutter in Reckless Racing on my Nexus 7 (2013). Reckless Racing 2 doesn't have this problem.

Plays smoothly on my S4 and my various other devices.

I emailed polarbit, but they never responded.

Any thoughts?

I downloaded the the free version and it works fine on mine.I also installed the hd version and that works too.
