Root Recommend a ROM.

Okay kids, time for some ROM talk.

I've been running GINGERvillan for a few months now, but I've found the latest update, 2.7, REALLY slowed down my Desire.

Can someone recommend a new quick, lightweight ROM. Don't like sense, so that isn't a requirement.

If you want lightweight, Redux or Oxygen. I'm running a stripped-down CyanogenMod that will still fit into the Oxygen hboot.

Of course you can always revert to GV 2.6.

CM7, Oxygen, Redux - these 3 are good alternatives to GV.
Oxygen is a good choice. Compared to CM7, it is cleaner and with a better battery life. Compared to Redux, it has themes and is a OS version newer (v2.3.4 vs v2.3.3).
