recommend alternative web browser

Previously was using Maxthon browser, but it is sluggish & stuttering even while scrolling up & down pages, let alone navigating from webpage to webpage
Much inferior than even oS 4.1.2's stock browser

Can anyone recommend a alternative web browser for Galaxy S2?

I use Chrome as my default browser.

If you need some more speed and don't mine not having a full function browser, check out Opera Mini (not Opera Mobile). On my old phone, I used Opera Mini because it was really fast. The Opera servers visit the site and open the web page. It then renders it and sends the image file in compressed format to your phone. The Opera servers are generally quite a bit faster than your phone, so the effect is that the web page opens faster than with any full functioned browser on your phone.

Opera Mini does have its limitations. It may have some problems with some web pages. You'll have to try it out with the web pages you normally view to see if it is an issue for you.

One other cool feature with Opera Mini is that it compresses the data before sending it to your phone. I find it reduced my data usage by 80%. If you have a limited data plan, this may be a feature that you find useful.

I use Chrome.

I used Dolphin for a long time, but each new version seemed larger, slower, and more unstable. If you want something lightweight, Tint is also very good but prone to peculiarities in page rendering every so often.

Dolphin with Dolphin Jetpack

Does anyone understand how Jetpack works?
I use it too with Dolphin and ive read the description but still dont get it.
Do i just need jetpack installed then forget about it and use the actual Dolphin browser normally?
Why isnt jetpack just built into the main app?:confused:

Another vote for Chrome, mainly due to the way you can sync the mobile and desktop versions, and see the search history for each.

Another Chrome & Dolphin vote.
Chrome is my primary, and Dolphine (with Jetpack & Flash) is for when I want to view online flash content on my Nexus.

Isn't Dolphin Jetpack a caching and page compression system that runs on Dolphin's servers? Similar to how Opera Mini works.

No idea man. I installed it ages ago and havent really tested with/without.
I dont understand why it isnt just part of the dolphin app.
Dolphin is definately the fastest full (not mini) browser for me and i love how perfectly balanced the "fling" scrolling effect is. And that it has full-screen option :)

It also has pretty good text re-wrapping when you zoom in and out. Saves having to size your zoom exactly to fit the text to the screen and read tiny little text.
