I ended up not getting it, a week went by and I checked Amazon for the status and it didn't even ship yet, so I cancelled it, it's $250 I could use for other things. I haven't dropped any calls and I still get a 3g signal in my home, albeit on the slow side.
Also I've notice the bars and dbm don't match up. For example today I grabbed a bite to eat in the center of town my phone had full antenna bars but my dbm was -97 (and would fluctuate between -93 - -101 but I'm sitting here my I have 1-2 antenna bars but my dbm is jumping between -83 and -90 unless I was misinformed isn't -83 better then -97? I might have to take a ride to verizon and compare mine to the floor model to make sure they both have the same signal strength. My Blackberry Tour would get below -80 in the center of town.
