Recommended case / screen protector?

I'm looking to upgrade to the Galaxy Nexus in mid-March when my contract is up. I've been looking at the Diztronic Matte TPU case (see link below) but have no idea where to turn for a screen protector. The one I have on my Incredible is great, I think the brand was InvisiShield or something similar... I hand it to people and they ask why I'm not using a screen protector, it's that discreet. The ones on my Dad's iphone and my brother's ipod touch feel think and gel-like, which I can't stand. What would you all recommend for a good screen protector that covers the entire face of the phone? There is an Amazon bundle with this case, the Verizon extended battery and a Skinomi screen protector for ~$44 I'm eyeing, but I don't want to cheap out on a screen protector and regret it later.

Thanks for the help!

I really like the SGP Ultra Oleophobic screen protector:

SPIGEN SGP Samsung Galaxy Nexus Screen Protector Steinheil Series - GALAXY NEXUS - Samsung - Cell Phones

It's as close as I've seen to actually having nothing there. It doesn't run to the edges of the screen, which irritates some people, but it doesn't bother me. Fingerprints wipe off easily, which is great.

I've used a handful of screen protectors across several devices. The SGP screen protectors are, in my opinion, the closest to just touching the glass.

Great, thanks for the feedback. I'm certainly leaning towards the XO Skins protector. Any thoughts on the case I listed in the original post? Its very thin, works with extended battery, matte finish, cheap and has great reviews. Only thing I'm pretty worried about is the lack of a volume rocker cutout.

The Diztronics TPU case came with a screen protector. I put it on my phone and loved it. It is a dry application screen protector. Feels like the glass once you have it on there and is almost unnoticeable. I will say, though, that I dropped my phone on the pavement and left a couple of good scratches on the screen protector that didn't go away so I took it off. Now have an XO skin on it. They are nice but don't like it near as much as the one that came with the case.

EDIT: As far as the diztronic case go, I love it. It barely adds anything to the phone. Make sure to get the latest version (Revision 3) of the case as it has the volume rocker cut out on it.

Another for XO Skins. They aren't anti glare, but they do hide finger prints very well. If they ever scratch, they heal within a day or so, if they don't they have a lifetime warranty and their customer service is awesome. I have been using them for years.

As for cases, go with either the otterbox or the diztronic. I have read good reviews for both

I want that pouch! Does anyone know the name of the screen protectors they ship with the district cases!? I emailed them last week but got no reply

Just playing through... new to smart phones, but not forums. :D

I have an otterbox with a screen protector on the nexus itself... so it's kinda' double protected. Haven't had any problems with glare or "rainbow" effect, and it is sensitive enough that tap & touch works just fine. YMMV

Is this all the smilies I get to play with? :p *sigh*

Back to my search for google calendar info... cheers!

Which Otterbox?

The Cruzer Lite Androidified case is the best case I have ever owned for a phone. I've had four cases for the Galaxy Nexus alone, including the Diztronic rev. 3 that I sent back.

Amazon.com: Black - Cruzer Lite Androidified A2 TPU Case - For Samsung Galaxy Nexus (SCH-i515 & GT-i9250): Cell Phones & Accessories

Comes in a ton of colors (I have black and it looks great). You can buy two and get one free.

As for screen protector, I have the XO Skins and love it. Ever so slight tackiness, but it looks flawless and the feel is pretty damn good.

Why did you send the diztronic one back?

Didn't like it that much and had read the Cruzer Lite was better. I waited for the Cruzer Lite to arrive and agreed with others, it was far superior.

I found the Diztronic to be slippery, not that attractive, and cheap feeling. Plus, they forgot to include the screen protector with my case.

For my Samsung Nexus Prime (Model GT-91250, in "white"), I have a clear transparent plastic case and the ZAGG InvisibleShield screen protector (pricey: $20, and a pain to put on, but well worth the money and effort), which absolutely PROTECTS my phone! (You could probably save money by searching for both on eBay.)

If u need a heavy duty case with a belt clip then go with the Otter Box Defender. After removing the built in screen protector, I am very satisfied with mine.
