Recommended MHL (microUSB - HDMI) cable?

Hi Guys - just wondered if any of you have bought or can recommend a good MHL cable (MicroUSB to HDMI) cable.

I'd like to show of some of my HD videos on my large screen LCD TV and try the odd game just to see how it looks.

What's the best cable out there? I'm in the UK and I've seen a variety of cables and prices from

I have the Samsung MHL cable (~20€) for my Sensation. It was available before HTC's.

Works fine, I can mirror the Sensation's screen on my TV

Thanks for the reply Harry2. I hadn't though to search for other brands MHL cables D'oh!

I will look up the Samsung cables. Do you have the one that needs to be connected to a charger?

Yes, but HTC's MHL needs this charging too.
I use the TV's USB plug for this

Oops hadn't spotted that the HTC cable needs charging too, I defintitely need to start reading the small print on adverts!

Thanks for the info, I hadn't considered using my TVs USB port as a charger so that's another idea you have given me.

Am off to Amazon and Clove now to start looking at cables.

IF YOUR T.V. has a USB CONNECTION why can't you just go straight from your Micro on your phone to the USB on your T.V.??? At least for shorter videos?? I use my droid for all my data needs ,I have no computer. But I do want netflix very badly .It's the only place that I can find a 1981 movie with my father in it! Plus TCM does let me down once in a while! LOL!

Because USB isn't set up to transfer video in that way. It stinks I know
