Root Recommended radio for Virtuous Affinity?

Hi everyone,

I've been using virtuous affinity for awhile, and I'm starting to get that itch to change roms (little things like data occasionally taking awhile to come up/go down, app crashes that shouldn't be happening, screen not coming on when I take the phone away from my head to hang up), but before I want to take the jump, I was wondering if I could just update my radio?

I read here that updating your radio to a version that the rom better supports could improve a whole host of things, so is anyone aware of a version that is best for this rom?

Thanks!

My current understanding is that the radio shouldn't have an effect on individual roms, but sometimes there is more "firmware" built into those PG32IMG.zip files that may affect things. There are some that recommend flashing the latest firmware before running ICS or JB roms, but it is generally safest to stick with a radio that was officially released by Verizon (assuming that is your carrier) for our phone.
I find I get better battery life and signal with the 320 radio, but some people think they're getting better with the 1111 radio which are two of the newest radios officially available for our phone.
All "which one is better" type questions will lead to the same answer for "radios": results may vary, give one a try for a couple days and try the next one. You may find a difference, you may not.

The reason I mention the radios that are specifically "officially" released for our phone is: some people have been having un-fixable problems arising after flashing kernels, roms and/or radios from Chinese leaks of ICS for their version of our phone.

Just make sure you read through a thread, and ask questions if you don't know what you're about to flash.

Here's all the available radios. Again, if you're in America and on VZ, I recommend trying the 1.09.01.0312 radio and the 1.09.01.1111 radios. I like the 1111.
