record your own ring tone

I was wondering if anybody knows if there is a way for me to record my own ring tone either through the phone or through an application? I'd like to be able to record my son saying something. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Bunch of ways of doing this, I would recommend "Rehearsal Assistant" to record your son. I think you can just make the resulting recording a ringtone, or you can use Ringdroid to clip a portion of the song and make it a ringtone.

I ended up downloading ringdroid and it works perfectly the way I needed it to work. I was able to record my son and then I was able to edit the recording and then save it. Ringdroid FTW.
